
The Perfect Fairy Garden Craft: Bush Fairy Letterbox
Searching for a great fairy garden craft that will help you get your toddler or preschooler excited about Aussie stories? It’s time to introduce your little ones to Australia’s very own fairies fairies with this Bush Baby letterbox craft activity.
The adorable fairy garden letterbox is easy to make and full of fun! Once you place it in the garden, you can give your children the chance to write a letter to the fairies. How magical!
You will need:
- Small sticks
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Hot glue
To make:
- Cut a small piece of card and roll into a tube. This will be the frame for your fairy garden letterbox.
- Collect some small sticks, and break them so that they are the length you want your letterbox to be.
- Use hot glue to attach the the sticks to the side of the card tube. You now have your letterbox.
- Next, glue on your letterbox post, using two slightly bigger sticks to make it stronger.
- To help the letterbox stand up, hot glue the letterbox post to a small rock or stone.
- A little flower blossom to help your letterbox stand out to the Bush Fairy postie.
- Place your letterbox in the garden, and start writing letters for the Bush Fairies!
