Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.

The Promoter is Merchantwise Pty Ltd (A.B.N. 13 875 687 606) of 1/ 266 Chapel St, Prahran, VIC, 3181 Australia (“Promoter“).

The competition will be open from 5.00 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST“) on Thursday, 7th June, 2018 and will continue until 11.59 PM AEDT, Sunday 17th June, 2018 (“Promotion Period“).

How to Enter
Entry is open to all Australian residents, who reside in Australia, other than management, employees or contractors of the Promoter and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the competition (including suppliers of prizes), and their immediate families (“Eligible Entrants“). Prizes will be awarded to guardians of any winner less than 18 years of age.

To enter and be eligible to win one of the Prizes, Eligible Entrants must during the Promotion Period:
1. Go to the May Gibbs Website Competitions page at https://maygibbs.org/competition/;
2. Answer the question; and
3. Complete the entry form with Name, Email Address and State details.
These three (3) tasks above will constitute one entry (“Eligible Entry”).

An individual can enter the draw once only.

The Eligible Entrant acknowledges and agrees that his or her Entry will not be obscene, defamatory, libellous, threatening, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encouraging of conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, gives rise to civil liability, or violate any law.

Judging and Prizes
This is a Competition of skill and chance plays no part in the determination of the Winner with one (1) Winners awarded the Major Prize and three (3) Winners awarded the Minor Prizes. Subject to the Entrant complying with these terms and conditions, the first valid Entry selected will win the Major Prize and the three subsequent valid Entries selected will win the Minor Prizes.

Judging of the Prizes from all Eligible Entries received during the Promotion Period will take place on 19th June, 2018. The judging will take place at Merchantwise Pty Ltd of 1/ 266 Chapel St, Prahran, VIC, 3181 and will be conducted by a representative of the Promoter.

There will be one (1) Major Prize winner selected by the judges, based on based on the most creative and/or original, in the context of the competition. and the winning Entry shall receive the following Major Prize:

A Private VIP Tour for up to four people (Valued at $210.00 per person) which includes:

Another animal encounter

There will also be three (3) Minor Prize winners selected by the judges, based on the most creative and/or original, in the context of the competition, and the three (3) winning Entries shall receive the following Minor Prize:

Four (4) tickets to WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo
Koala plush toy

Total prize pool value $1,662.00 (incl GST).

The Prize Winners will be notified via email after the Prize draw.

The Prize winners name will also be published on the May Gibbs Website Competition page (www.maygibbs.x58ku9f0-liquidwebsites.com/competition) for a period not less than 28 days.

The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.

All other costs associated with the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.

The Prize is valid for up to six (6) months and can be taken subject to availability between 20th June 2018 and 20th December 2018.

Winners are advised to provide up to three (30 suitable dates for their VIP tour and where possible WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo will try to accommodate accordingly.

Prize consists only of the elements detailed above; all additional expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner plus guests.

Due to animal husbandry and other issues, encounters booked cannot be guaranteed and are subject to change without notice. WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo reserves the right in its absolute discretion to swap animal encounters.

The private VIP tour will allow you into the WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo Koala enclosure for an up close encounter and photo opportunity, however please note it is not legal in NSW for WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo to allow guests to hold the Koalas additionally WILD LIFE Sydney has a No Touch Policy for our Koalas.

In the event that guests arrive late for this experience, elements may be shortened to stay within the required run times. Finish times cannot be amended to accommodate for late arrival.

In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby permits the winner’s words, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the winner’s participation in the prize to appear in connection with The Promoter or the advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.

Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.

The Promoter shall not be liable for any Prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way before it reaches the winner. The Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of equal or greater monetary value at the Promoter’s absolute discretion.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a Prize.

General
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries. The Promoter is not responsible for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times.
Incomplete, illegible and incorrect entries or entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win.
If, for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available, subject to State and Territory regulations.

Any cost associated with entering this Competition and/or accessing the May Gibbs website is the Entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet or Mobile service provider used. The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

Any Entrant who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry mechanism in any way, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to win.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions of entry. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Competition, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding on each entrant and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity; proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

The Winner/s must also sign a release form at the discretion of the Promoter. The release must be completed with the full name, address and telephone number of the entrant’s parent or guardian. Failure to provide such proof, particulars or releases will immediately invalidate the entrant’s entitlement to any prize, subject to State legislation.

It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and the Prize supplier’s requirements.

All entries will be the property of the Promoter. The Promoter may disclose users personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this offer or communicating with users. By submitting their details, the entrant consents to the storage of their personal information on the Promoter’s database and the Promoter may use this information for future promotional and marketing purposes regarding the Promoter’s products including contacting the user via electronic messaging.
