This year, it’s going to be a very “homemade” Christmas to save on costs that the festive season typically brings. Making your own cards, paper and even Christmas gifts can go a long way in being able to spread the Christmas cheer, without spending outside your budget.

Materials to Make Bush Stick Christmas Gift Tags
Scissors - Sticks or branch
- Mini cards
- Hole punch
- Hot glue gun
- Pine needle branches
Instructions
- STEP 1: Hole punch the corner of the card BEFORE you glue your design. You don’t want the sticks to be in the area where you need to punch the hole for the ribbon.
- STEP 2: Trim your bush sticks so they are ready to glue onto your card. This design is to make a tree. The simplest design is the easiest to create when using bush sticks as your craft material of choice.
- STEP 3: Glue the sticks to the card using the hot glue gun. I found it easiest to run the glue on the card and place the sticks into place.
Once your gift tag is made, write to the recipient and then thread ribbon through the hole to adorn your Christmas gift.
