How To Make A Flower and Leaf Face Collage

Now that it’s autumn, you would have noticed the leaves on the trees have started to turn different shades of amber, red and brown. The changing of the leaves is the season sign that winter is about to come. The leaves will eventually fall off and scatter on the ground, perfect for little people to race through, kicking up colourful and crunchy leaves and throwing them in the air!

Any petals, leaves and gumnuts laying on the ground make the perfect craft materials for a flower face collage.

If you go for a walk around the block, or trek around your house to see what leaves have fallen to the ground, why not collect these to turn into a craft project?

All you need is a sense of adventure as you scavenge the ground to source your materials. Let your creativity lead as you create faces and collages of unusual shapes.

Materials

  • Leaves
  • Flower petals
  • Gum nuts
  • Sticky dots or sticky tape
  • Picnic rug (optional) to sit outside and make your creations
