Make a Flower Wreath for Spring
Flowers growing in the garden are a sign spring is here. Hooray!
Spring is the perfect time to make this flower wreath. You can use freshly cut stems from your garden, or for a longer lasting wreath you could use dried or fake flowers.
This delightful craft is a beautiful art piece which can be hung on a wall.
Dried flowers can be purchased from a florist or craft store. Alternatively, fake flower stems can be purchased from department stores.
Materials to make a Flower Wreath
Tapestry hoop
- Beige string
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
- Fake and dried flower stems
Instructions
STEP 1: Knot the string around one end of the tapestry hoop. A drop of hot glue can keep the ends of the string fastened to the hoop.
STEP 2: Weave the string around the ends of the timber hoop. This will allow you to weave your flower and leaf stems to make the wreath.
STEP 3: Tie the ends of the string around the other end of the hoop. Ensure the string is taut.
STEP 4: Weave leaf stems and flower stems through the strings to create your wreath.
