Stunning Homemade Nature Christmas Cards

Nature christmas cardsThis homemade nature Christmas card is stunning. The simplicity in design enables you to make a few cards at once for all the people you want to wish a Merry Christmas to.

I made these cards on a rainy day, ready to be attached to a present or sent in the mail in December.

Pine trees are scattered all around our neighbourhood and the pine needles were easy to find on the ground. You may need to go for a walk to explore your street or a local park to find some pine needles to make these cards.

Grab a few abandoned pine needle branches as you will need 1 pine needle section per card.

Materials to Make Homemade Nature Christmas Cards

  • Materials for nature christmas cardsScissors
  • Glue stick
  • Star paper fasteners
  • White cards and envelopes
  • Craft knife
  • Pine needle branches

Instructions

STEP 1: Select a pine needle branch and star fastener to create your design on the card. You don’t want your pine needle to be too big for the card and you need to work out where to place your star at the top of the card.

STEP 2: Glue the pine needle in place to create a Christmas Tree.

STEP 3: Use the craft knife to make a small cut into the card at the top of the pine needle stem.

STEP 5: Trim any stems or pine needle leaves that hang outside the card.

Enjoy the process of making these cards so you have them on hand when Christmas rolls around.
