May Gibbs’ bush babies have been reimagined by one of Australia’s favourite bedlinen and homewares brands Kip & Co to commemorate the 100 year celebrations of the much-loved Author and Illustrator’s first book, Gumnut Babies.

The extensive capsule collection for kids and babies which lovingly honours May Gibbs’ original artwork includes bedding, blankets, swaddles, cushions, play-mats, sleepwear and Santa sacks and is now available for pre-order online at Kip & Co.

Kip & Co’s team of Kate Heppell, Hayley Pannekoecke and Alex van der Sluys are thrilled to introduce the bush babies to a new generation and to also celebrate their own childhood in which May Gibbs’ stories played a big part. “Hand on heart, this is our proudest collaboration yet,” says Kip & Co’s Kate Heppell. “May Gibbs was huge in both our families, so we were over the moon when we had the opportunity to collaborate. There was something very nostalgic and sentimental for us all about creating a range that drew on stories that were such a feature of our own childhoods, and can now be passed on to our kids.”
