Paper Plate Gum Leaf Christmas Craft
This is one of our favourite group Christmas crafts, Paper Plate and Gum Leaf Wreaths. So easy to organise, minimal tools required and the little ones can do all the creating.
You’ll need:
Paper plates
Scissors
Old paint brush
PVA glue
Gum leaves
Ribbon, sparkles or gum nuts to complete your wreath.
How to make:
Start by cutting out the middle of the paper plate. You might need to assist or do this one for little fingers it’s a bit tricky. If you need to put names on your wreaths add them to the rim on the side facing down now.
Now paint and Glue the gum leaves on to the plate to create your wreath. We used here leaves that were a few days old so they were starting to dry or ones that we had collected earlier that were dry.
Once you have covered your plate and made a gum leaf wreath be sure to leave it to dry completely.
Finish off your wreath by adding a bow, some gum nuts, glitter, or anything else you might have to make it festive.
