You will need:
- Ice cube mould
- Citric acid
- Baking soda
- Tea tree essential oil
- Eucalyptus essential oil
- Spray bottle
- Water
- Spoon
- Bowl
- ½ cup and 1 cup measuring cups
Method:
- Mix 1 cup of baking soda with ½ cup of citric acid. Mix well in a bowl.
- Add up to 10 drops of each of your essential oils. Mix well.
- Fill a spray bottle with water and spray the mixture. About 3 sprays is ideal. When the mixture stays in a ball in your hand, a bit like wet sand, you have the right consistency.
- Fill your ice cube mould with the mixture, making sure to press it down.
- Leave outside in a dry area for 12 hours (overnight is great).
- After drying, remove steamers and store them in a sealed jar.
- To enjoy your shower steamer, place one cube in the corner of the shower. It will fizz away, diffusing essential oils as you shower.
