August 13, 2019

A handmade gift for Father’s Day is the perfect way to tell your dad how much you appreciate him. This bush stick notepad holder is easy to make and offers a practical gift for dad. All you need is a few sticks from the backyard to recreate this gift idea. Include a notepad and pen, with an inscription on the pad to say Happy Father’s Day.

You will need:

• Sticks
• Secateurs
• Hot glue gun
• Notepad and pen

Instructions:

Step 1: Cut your sticks using the secateurs to ensure they are all the same size. Use the notepad as a guide, to ensure it fits into your holder.

Step 2: Glue the stick base by gluing each end to create a square.

Step 3: Glue the sticks within the square to create the base of the notepad holder.

Step 4: Build up the notepad holder by gluing each end of the stick on the opposite sides.

Step 5: Once complete, you could add a gumnut as a pen holder. Our notepad came with a hole in the corner for pen placement.
